Freewill Offering – thank you!

We hope that all incumbents, churchwardens and PCC secretaries and treasurers will have received a letter from the Archbishop thanking your church for its Freewill Offering.  To go alongside the Archbishop’s message, we’ve created a little video for you to watch, share in your PCC meetings, or in your services if appropriate.  You can watch this here: (Preview) . We’re also asking people involved in making an offer for their feedback on the freewill offerings process and the materials that were produced. Step Forward 2014

The Archbishop of York is inviting anyone aged eighteen to thirty who is thinking about training for ordained ministry to a conference at Bishopthorpe Palace , York .  The ‘Step Forward’ conference on Saturday 1 March 2014 is for anyone who is even remotely thinking of serving God through ordained ministry.  Find out more here:

Archbishop Sentamu and Bishop Terry’s Prayers for Christian Unity

The Roman Catholic Bishop of Middlesbrough, the Rt Revd Terence Drainey, has invited Archbishop Sentamu to preach at a special service to be held at 3.00 pm on Sunday 19th January 2014 in St Mary’s Cathedral, Middlesbrough during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.  Find out more here:
