Saint Leonard’s Parish Church Loftus is situated on Water Lane TS13 4RN and is adjacent to the Gothic Town Hall.

Baptisms usually take place at Saint Leonard’s Church on Sundays at 12:30 pm

Saint Leonard’s Church is licensed for Christian Marriage according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Church of England.

Saint Leonard’s Church is available for Christian Funeral Services.

Under normal circumstances funeral arrangements are made on behalf of a family by a funeral director.


Although Saint Leonard’s Churchyard was officially closed by Her Late Majesty Queen Victoria by Order-in-Council on the 21st November 1855; Saint Leonard’s Churchyard remains open for the burial of cremated remains.

Any enquiries regarding the churchyard should be made to The Rectory or to one of our Churchwardens.


Please note that, for some Church Services, the Church of England charges a fee.

    Hello adam its connor i was wondering about being baptized sometime,ihear its not as complicated as roman Catholicism!! Haha,i might come up this sunday and speak with you,is there a differnce between anglican mass and catholic mass,is your church high church,broad church or low church thank you for your time!!
