Safari Supper 2016 makes £290
The Benefice Safari Supper, held on the evening of Friday 26th August 2016, made an impressive £290 profit for our benefice funds!
Over twenty guests visited the Loftus Town Hall, Carlin How’s Jubilee Hall and various private residences across the benefice as they went from place-to-place stopping for a course of their Safari Supper along the way. The evening culminated in guests and helpers gathering together in the Jubilee Hall in Carlin How Village for desert and cheese; during which live music was played and a, “just for fun quiz” was held. A great evening was had by all!
As the Safari Supper was a benefice event £145 will now go toward Saint Helen’s Parish Church funds, and £145 towards Saint Leonard’s Church funds. A big thank you to everyone who took part in this successful and most enjoyable fundraising event!
